About the Founder
Autumn Kelly began her career in communications at age 12, when she submitted a story to a magazine. This was followed by work with libraries, researchers, and local publishing offices (1998-2002), an editor role at the Journal of Clinical Investigation (2003-2009), and various roles at communications agencies (2010-2015). In 2016 she founded her own agency, AHK Communications LLC.
Her work was supported by an undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology, a masters in communications, and two certificates in writing and editing, from the University of Chicago. A 200-hr yoga teacher certification and an (ongoing) certificate in digital marketing help to bring openness, creativity, and fresh approaches to communicating health, broaden the industries we work with, and better serve the audiences we reach.
